- I am a 43 year old full time working mommy of two boys. I have been a teacher for 16 years and a mommy for 10 years. My life as a mommy is not at all what I expected. Our oldest son, "Dash", who turned 10 in April, was born with special needs. It has been a long, agonizing process trying to determine exactly what is going on in that mind of his. Our most recent diagnosis is PPD-NOS (pervasive developmental disorder-not otherwise specified), OCD, and anxiety. "Crash" is a 7 year old who is all boy. He loves his brother dearly and is on the go from sun up till sundown! This blog chronicles my life trying to raise my two boys, one with special needs, and one who is just busy. Follow me as I laugh, cry, and sometimes scream.
